Introduction of Department:

Department of Botany was established in 2009 presently, it has been conducting the graduate course (B. Sc.). There are Three full time faculty members working in the department. This department has been organizing many co-curricular activities for students like a competitive science-based exam, poster presentation competition, science Quiz Competition, Competitive exam, Remedial coaching for slow learners etc. The faculty of Department actively participates in the extension services in college such as Botanical Association, Examination work, college academic & Research cell, soft skill Development program, excursion tour, eco-friendly Rakhi competition, wild medicinal plant exhibition etc. Apart from teaching all the faculty members of the department are actively involved in research and development.
